BMW introduced the revised G05 X5 in April 2023, with slimmer headlights, a redesigned dashboard carrying the Curved Display, and updated powertrains. BMW builds the vehicle at its Spartanburg plant in South Carolina. AC Schnitzer offers an aftermarket program for the facelifted X5 that includes a front splitter, side skirts, wheel sets, and an engine upgrade for the xDrive50e plug-in hybrid. The program covers several configurations of the X5 rather than identifying a single fixed vehicle specification. Its components build on BMW's revised Sports Activity Vehicle platform.
