IG3801 1/18 Scale INITIAL D Mazda RX-7 (FD3S) Yellow with LED light
This is 1/18 scale model of Keisuke Takahashi's RX-7 (FD3S) from the final battle in the comic manga version of "INITIAL D." Like the previous model, "IG3539 1/18 INITIAL D SUBARU Impreza WRX type R STi Version V (GC8)," this version also features a new LED lighting system. The upgraded LED unit offers increased brightness and replicates the illumination of the headlights, taillights, reverse lights, and instrument panel. Additionally, the hazard lights can now flash. The fuel filler cover functions as the power switch—pressing it turns the power "ON." Bringing the included magnetic stick close to the front tip of the hood activates the headlights, taillights, reverse lights, and instrument panel. Bringing the stick close again makes the hazard lights flash, and a third approach turns off all the lights. Power is supplied through a USB Type-C port hidden behind the rear license plate, which is attached magnetically. Charging takes about 15 to 30 minutes. The car features 18-inch 6-spoke gold wheels, a lowered suspension, and a carbon fiber hood. It is equipped with RE Amemiya-style aero parts (front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper), a GT wing, large-diameter muffler, aero mirrors, bucket seats, a roll bar in the rear, and a dedicated steering wheel. Using 3D scanning data of the real vehicle as a base, the model faithfully replicates the detailed specifications of the comic manga version RX-7 (FD3S) according to the INITIAL D licensor's approval.
