The Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R, nicknamed "Hakosuka" (a contraction of hako – box, and Suka – short for Skyline in Japanese), is an icon of the Japanese automotive industry. As the first generation of the Skyline GT-R, it isn't as well-known as its younger sister, the R34, but remains just as impactful. Available in both sedan (PGC10) and coupe (KPGC10) versions, it embodies the spirit of Japanese sports cars from the 1970s. Under the hood lies a 2.0-liter S20 inline-six engine, derived from motorsport, producing 160 horsepower. With fewer than 2,000 units ever built — exclusively for the Japanese market — this model is as rare as it is iconic.
